We Love Our Jersey Woolies!

We caught bunny fever in the spring of 2006, attending show after show looking for the perfect breed for our family.  The rabbits would need to be small so that my children could easily handle them should they decide to show.   My children were also interested in finding a breed with a variety of colors.  But most important by far we had to find a gentle breed, which would enjoy lots of handling.  Enter the Jersey Woolies...

After joining the ARBA & numerous email lists, we finally came to a decision.  Over and over we heard of the Jersey Wooly's gentle nature and friendly personality.  They were the perfect size, with an ideal senior weight of 3 pounds, and can be found in a rainbow of colors.  We joined the National Jersey Wooly Rabbit Club (NJWRC) & discovered a wonderful breeder right here in Illinois to help get us started with a beautiful trio (Thank you Sue Mars).
